To promote amateur kickboxing, MMA, Muay Thai or pankration revents in the Province of British Columbia, you must be registered with the BC Athletic Commissioner.
To register as a promoter the individual acting as the applicant must complete the online application form and submit the documents listed below;
- Criminal Record Check (CRC) including a vulnerable sector check (Tier 4) - you are responsible for all associated fees
- Personal disclosure form
- Copies of two pieces of ID, one of which shows your photo and is government issue (e.g. driver’s licence, passport)
And...
- If applying as a corporation; a copy of your incorporation/registration.
Applications will not be reviewed until all of the required information has been submitted. Your registration will be valid for one year from the date on which it is issued.
The issuance of a registration under this application does not provide for a permit to promote an event. An event permit must be applied for separately.
Please note: Your CRC will remain valid with the Office of the BC Athletic Commissioner for three years.
