For amateur kickboxing contests, the BC Athletic Commission has provisionally adopted the following rules:

For amateur Muay Thai contests, the BC Athletic Commission has provisionally adopted ABC’s recommendations for Amateur Muay Thai rules.

For amateur MMA contests, British Columbia has provisionally adapted the Association of Boxing Commissioners’ Amateur MMA rules:

Amateur Kickboxing rules and amateur Pankration rules are still being developed at this time.
Any variations to these amateur rules must be approved in writing by the BCAC in advance of any contest or event.
